Proof of interest

Recipients of fee-based business information confirm that they have the proof of interest required by law for viewing this data pursuant to Article 13, section 2, part c of the DPA. At the same time they confirm that the requests will only be used for permissible purposes (among other things, taking into account the restrictions within the employment relationship pursuant to Article 328b of the Swiss Code of Obligations). Terms of Use for Company Reports

1. Scope

These terms of use regulate the use of the reporting options for Swiss companies made available by Bisnode Switzerland Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Bisnode') on Minors may only report companies on with the expressed permission of their legal guardians, whereby the guardians assume responsibility for violations of the terms of use.

Bisnode reserves the right to make amendments to the following terms of use for company reports at any time. Where amendments are made, Bisnode shall publish the amendments immediately on It is the responsibility of the user to understand the current version of the terms of use.

2. Rules of conduct

Libellous contributions or those with racist, discriminatory, sexist or pornographic content, or content promoting violence are forbidden.

Moreover no content may be published which is of a threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, hateful or in any other way harmful nature or for advertising purposes. Bisnode reserves the right to not publish or to completely remove transgressive contributions without query. Any misuse will be subject to investigation.

Reports which have no connection to the reported company, as well as reports that were apparently submitted under a false name or by a false account, will also not be published.

3. Responsibilities of the user

The users themselves shall be responsible for all content provided by them.

Users shall be aware that any information disclosed by them may be made public and is accordingly not of a private nature. Bisnode therefore advises users not to disclose any personal details within the context of the textual report.

The users shall particularly undertake not to publicise any content which contravenes the valid Swiss legal process and/or the rights of third parties (including their personal rights).

In addition the users shall refrain from offering and providing links to the following content:

  • Content which, according to a decision by Bisnode with regard to general moral values and obligations, is considered obscene, abusive, defamatory, offensive, pornographic, harassing, racist, xenophobic or otherwise objectionable;

  • Content which serves as advertising for third parties.

Users shall grant Bisnode indemnity from liability for any recourse, legal disputes, damage claims and other complaints and claims hereto, which third parties could introduce or submit in connection with the provision of their report.

4. Transfer of rights

Users hereby expressly permit that their recorded company reports may be seen by other visitors to the website. Users grant Bisnode all temporally, spatially and materially unrestricted, non-exclusive rights for the use of the company reports provided.

Bisnode may also use the company reports in other products and services outside of The company reports may also be embedded as a link on external websites or be made available via upload on third party websites (e.g. Facebook, Google+ etc.).

Content made public by users may be found on search engines; Bisnode has no influence on the deletion of content from search engines.

5. Liability limitations

Content provided by users do not represent the opinions of Bisnode. Accordingly Bisnode shall bear no responsibility for the content communicated by users. Bisnode shall bear no responsibility for loss of data and/or for other damages to users or third parties arising from use of the service. Bisnode shall bear no responsibility for the functional capability of and compatibility with the hardware used by the user. The users shall themselves be responsible for the hardware they use.

6. Personal data of the users/Registration

Registration on the part of the user is required for the provision of company reports on They are obliged to keep their login details (password etc.) confidential and not available to third parties. Users shall be responsible for all actions taken under the use of their login details.

The users shall ensure that the personal data provided are truthful and complete. Therewith users also declare themselves aware that their details will be registered on Bisnode and saved electronically.

Incomplete registration and false information shall lead to the rejection of users. The users shall be obliged to keep their personal details accurate and up to date. Amendments to contact details (relocation, new email address etc.) shall be communicated to Bisnode immediately. Bisnode reserves the right to delete any incorrect details.

When handling these data, Bisnode shall adhere to the existing legal regulations.

7. Security of data

Bisnode offers no guarantee for the security or archiving of data from recorded company reports.

8. Indemnification

All users shall be bound to hold Bisnode harmless from any liability and from all obligations, expenses and claims arising from damages due to defamation, libel, personal rights violations, due to the failure of services to the users, due to the violation of immaterial goods or other rights. The users shall bear the costs arising from legal representation hereto against third parties for the defence and pursuit of rights on behalf of the service or its employees and/or third parties.
