Forbo senkt Jahresprognose

Forbo hat ihre Erwartungen für das laufende Geschäftsjahr nach unten angepasst. Der Spezialist für Bodenbeläge und Förderbänder sieht sich mit negativen Währungseffekten sowie einer nachlassenden Marktdynamik konfrontiert.
Die positive Entwicklung im ersten Halbjahr habe sich im dritten Quartal nicht fortgesetzt, teilte Forbo am Mittwoch mit. So hätten sich die Rahmenbedingungen seit Mitte Jahr spürbar verschlechtert und der Baumarkt leide unter den höheren Zinsen, was bei den Kunden zu einer Zurückhaltung führe.
Zusätzlich belaste der starke Schweizer Franken: So geht Forbo für das Geschäftsjahr 2023 auf Stufe Umsatz von einem negativen Währungseffekt in Höhe von 80 Mio. Fr aus und auf Stufe Ebit von 10 Mio. Massnahmen zur Sicherung der Rentabilität seien bereits ergriffen worden, heisst es weiter.
Insgesamt erwartet Forbo nun für 2023 einen Umsatzrückgang von 10% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr und rechnet mit einem Konzerngewinn von rund 100 Mio. Fr. Zum Halbjahr war das Unternehmen noch von einem «leicht höheren» Umsatz als im Vorjahr (1,29 Mrd. Fr.) sowie einem Reingewinn im Bereich von rund 130 (VJ 101 Mio. Fr.) Mio. Fr ausgegangen.
