  • Die SFH steht ein für eine Schweiz, die Geflüchtete wirksam schützt, ihre Grund- und Menschenrechte wahrt, ihre gesellschaftliche Teilhabe ermöglicht und ihnen mit Respekt und Offenheit begegnet. Als Fachorganisation, Kompetenzdrehscheibe und Dachverband der im Bereich Flucht und Asyl tätigen Hilfswerke und Organisationen bezweckt die SFH die Zusammenarbeit, die Förderung von Kompetenz und eine starke und geeinte Stimme ihrer Mitgliedsorganisationen im Interesse der Geflüchteten. Die SFH ist konfessionell neutral, politisch unabhängig, zivilgesellschaftlich verankert und in der Fachwelt vernetzt. Die Hauptaufgaben der SFH sind: a. die Einforderung der Rechte und die Stärkung der Interessen der Geflüchteten in Politik, bei den Behörden und gegenüber Verbänden; b. die Sensibilisierung für ihre Lebensumstände in der breiten Öffentlichkeit; c. die Einflussnahme auf die politischen Rahmenbedingungen und die Asylpraxis; d. die Koordination von Tätigkeiten, die Organisation des fachlichen Austausches, die Entwicklung von Benchmarks für die operative Tätigkeit sowie die Erbringung von Dienstleistungen für ihre Mitgliedsorganisationen; e. die Vertretung der Verbandsinteressen; f. die Wissens- und Informationsvermittlung sowie die Förderung der Fachkompetenz; g. das Anstossen von Innovationen im Bereich Flucht und Asyl.
