Schweizer Müesli-Produzent Bossy Céréales ist pleite

Der traditionsträchtige Betrieb im Kanton Freiburg produzierte Müesli nach Originalrezept des Birchermüesli-Erfinders. Nun ist das Geschäft am Ende.
Zur typischen Schweizer Morgenroutine gehört ein Knuspermüesli mit Haferflocken, Nüssen und getrockneten Fruchtstücken einfach dazu. Das konnte den Schweizer Müesli-Produzenten Bossy Céréales in Cousset FR allerdings nicht vor dem Untergang bewahren. Das Unternehmen hat Konkurs angemeldet, wie am Freitag aufgrund einer Meldung im Schweizerischen Handelsamtblatt (SHAB) bekannt wurde.
Gründe für den Konkurs werden keine genannt. Auch auf der Website des Unternehmens finden sich keine näheren Angaben. Telefonisch war das Unternehmen nicht mehr erreichbar. Auch eine schriftliche Anfrage von Blick blieb bislang unbeantwortet.
Unklar ist daher auch, wie viele Stellen vom Konkurs genau betroffen sind. Das Unternehmen macht online keine Angaben zum Personalbestand. Aus einer älteren Präsentation geht hervor, dass Bossy Céréales Ende 2022 30 Mitarbeitende beschäftigte. Damals hiess es in einer Prognose, der Personalbestand solle bis 2024 auf 60 Mitarbeitende aufgestockt werden. Ob dieses Ziel jemals erreicht wurde, ist allerdings unklar. Noch im Mai 2022 hatte das Unternehmen eine neue Fabrik in Cousset eingeweiht.
Nach dem Rezept des Birchermüesli-Erfinders
Das Unternehmen ist in der Region eine Institution: Es wurde 1852 von der Familie Chuard gegründet, die den Stab bald an die Familie Bossy weitergab. Bossy stellte unter anderem eine Müesli-Mischung unter dem Namen «Swiss Müesli» her. Laut Angaben der Firma stammt das Rezept dafür von Max Bircher-Benner höchstpersönlich – dem Erfinder des weltbekannten Birchermüeslis. Daneben gehörten auch ein Crunchy- sowie ein Schoko-Müesli zum Sortiment.
Neben dem angestammten Müesli-Business war Bossy Céréales laut eigenen Angaben auch eines der einzigen Schweizer Unternehmen, das Bulgur herstellt. Produkte von Bossy waren unter anderem bei Migros, Coop und in der Hotellerie erhältlich.
Gläubiger der pleitegegangenen Firma haben nun bis zum 14. April Zeit, ihre Forderungen beim zuständigen Amt anzumelden. Das Konkursverfahren wird summarisch durchgeführt, verbleibt also in der Hand des Konkursamts.
