  • Der AGVS tritt für die gesunde Entwicklung des Motorfahrzeuges innerhalb der schweizerischen Verkehrswirtschaft ein und bekämpft alle einseitig gegen das Motorfahrzeug gerichteten Massnahmen. Er bezweckt die Gesamtinteressen des Autogewerbes im weitesten Sinne und des Autohandels wahrzunehmen, insbesondere auch auf dem Gebiete der Selbsthilfe und der Abwehr des unlauteren Wettbewerbes.Er wahrt und vertritt die wirtschaftlichen, rechtlichen und sozialen Interessen des Verbandes und seiner Mitglieder gegenüber Behörden und öffentlichen sowie privaten Organisationen; insbesondere vertritt er die gemeinsamen Interessen bezüglich neuer Gesetzesvorhaben von Bund und Kantonen, welche die Tätigkeit der Mitglieder in der Automobilbranche berühren. Er verfolgt die Hebung des Berufsstandes nach jeder Richtung hin, insbesondere auf dem Wege der Berufsbildung, und tritt allen Bestrebungen entgegen, welche Tüchtigkeit, Würde und Ansehen des Berufsstandes gefährden.
