Die Destination Gstaad erstreckt sich auf die Gemeindegebiete der Gemeinden Gsteig, Lauenen, Saanen und Zweisimmen. Seine Tätigkeit umfasst insbesondere: den Betrieb und Unterhalt der Informations- und Geschäftsstellen; die Planung, Gestaltung und Ausführung der Standortentwicklung sowie des touristischen Marketings; den Betrieb und den Unterhalt touristischer Infrastrukturen; die Bereitstellung von Dienstleistungen für die Mitglieder; die Organisation und Unterstützung der Anlässe zur Erfüllung des Vereinszwecks; die Koordination und Unterstützung der dem Vereinszweck entsprechenden Bestrebungen von Dritten; die fachliche Beratung der Mitglieder, der Dorfvorstände, der Gemeinden, der Berufs- und Fachverbände, der Unternehmungen, der Veranstalter und aller am Tourismus beteiligten und interessierten Kreise; die Aus- und Weiterbildung der im Tourismus tätigen Personen. Zur Erreichung seines Zwecks ist der Verein befugt: Liegenschaften und Baurechte zu erwerben; Mobilien anzuschaffen oder zu erstellen; sich an Unternehmungen, Vereinen und Stiftungen, usw. zu beteiligen; einzelne Aufgaben an Organisationen abzutreten; sonst alles zu tun, was der Erfüllung seines Zweckes dient.
