Rote Zahlen wegen veraltetem Warenlager

Der Bekleidungskonzern ist im Geschäftsjahr 2009 in die roten Zahlen gerutscht. Ein Abbau des überalterten Warenlagers hat starke Aus- wirkung auf das Ergebnis. In der Folge müssen die Aktionäre auf eine Dividende verzichten; 2010 Jahr ist wieder ein Gewinn angestrebt. Der Nettoumsatz ging im Berichtsjahr um 3,9% auf 1'310,2 Mio CHF zurück. Vor Währungseinflüssen konnte das Umsatzniveau mit -0,2% ungefähr ge- halten werden. Der Einfluss aus Expansionstätigkeit wirkten sich mit 32 Mio CHF bzw. 2,3% aus. Das Jahr sei von einem anhaltend schwierigen Wirtschaftsklima in ganz Europa beeinflusst gewesen. Die relative Stabilität der Verkäufe verdanke die Gruppe nicht zuletzt ihrer Positionierung in der mittleren Preiskategorie. Der Gewinn litt unter Abschreibungen auf dem Warenbestand. So waren Ende März 2009 mehr als 30% des Warenbestands oder 12 Mio Teile älter als 18 Monate gewesen und somit als Altware zu betrachten. Eine modifizierte Ab- schriftensteuerung soll sicherstellen, dass es ab Ende März 2010 keine Ware gibt, die älter als 18 Monate ist. Der Abbau der Altware und die modifizierte Abschriftensteuerung haben dazu beigetragen, dass der Bruttogewinn mit 40 Mio CHF belastet wurde. Der Betriebsauf- aufwand wurde durch frühzeitig Massnahmen um 19 Mio auf 731 Mio CHF gesenkt. Der EBITDA sank auf 71,3 Mio und der EBIT auf 4,1 (47,6) Mio CHF. Unter dem Strich schrieb das Unternehmen einen Verlust von 13,7 Mio CHF und eine Nettoverschuldung von in Höhe von 15 Mio. CHF.
