Dieser Zweck kann erreicht werden insbesondere durch Aufklärung der Öffentlichkeit über die Bedeutung und Tragweite der internationalen Aktion zur Rettung Venedigs; Beschaffung von privaten und öffentlichen finanziellen Mitteln; Beteiligung an der Erforschung der wissenschaftlichen Voraussetzungen und Grundlagen der Rettungsaktionen; Durchführung von Restaurierungen geschichtlich oder kunstgeschichtlich bedeutender sakraler und profaner Baudenkmäler und Kunstwerke sowie weiterer Kulturwerke oder Beteiligungen an solchen Restaurierungsarbeiten; Vertretung der schweizerischen Bemühungen zur Rettung der Stadt Venedig gegenüber dem Ausland.
