Axa beteiligt sich am Portal Newhome
22.01.2024Bei Immobilienanzeigen herrscht in der Schweiz seit rund zwei Jahren wenig Wettbewerb. Die zwei mit Abstand grössten Immobilienplattformen – Homegate und Immoscout24 – sind nicht mehr Konkurrenten, sondern Schwestern. Beide gehören zur Ende 2021 gegründeten Swiss Marketplace Group (SMG), einem Joint Venture der Medienhäuser TX Group und Ringier, an dem auch die Mobiliar-Versicherung und der Finanzinvestor General Atlantic beteiligt sind.
Nun kommt allerdings wieder etwas Bewegung in den Markt. Die Nummer drei – die Plattform Newhome – erhält prominente Unterstützung. Wie am frühen Montagmorgen bekanntgegeben wurde, beteiligt sich der Versicherer Axa mit 20 Prozent an Newhome.ch. Newhome war bisher im Besitz von 19 Kantonalbanken sowie von über 500 Akteuren der Immobilienbranche. Nun soll das Aktienkapital erhöht werden, so dass neu die Kantonalbanken 50 Prozent, die Immobilienwirtschaft 30 Prozent und die Axa 20 Prozent am Unternehmen halten.
